Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in AR area,
- good understanding processes in AR area,
- high interpersonal and analytical skills,
- attention to detail and thoroughness,
- very good command of English and Portuguese (at least B2),
- university degree or in the course of study with a major in Economics, Finance or Accounting will be an asset,
- experience in project of improvements will be an asset,
- knwoledge of SAP system and Baswere tools.
Responsibilities
- reviewing and reconciling daily cash receipts,
- processing accounts receivable (AR) documents and transactions,
- preparing and posting journal entries related to AR,
- matching cash receipts with corresponding invoices in AR ledgers,
- performing AR account reconciliations,
- analyzing customer aging reports and identifying overdue items,
- communicating with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes and reduce overdue balances,
- following up with late-paying customers to ensure timely payments,
- maintaining and updating internal processes and documentation (e.g., internal control procedures),
- ensuring proper documentation for audit and compliance purpose,
- supporting legal entities and headquarters with ad-hoc AR-related tasks,
- performing other duties related to the AR process as required.
