What is the Team responsible for?
BSP-Alcentra is an international expert in credit management, private credit and structured credit strategies and one of the largest global credit and private debt managers. As of 31st May 2025, the combined platform manages $78 billion in assets under management (AUM) and has expertise in Senior Secured Loans, Direct Lending, Structured Credit, Special Situations, High Yield Bonds, Multi-Strategy Credit, and Commercial Real Estate. The global team totals 498, with 167 investment professionals.

Join our Liquid Credit Product Team, supporting our investment and sales teams across Leveraged Loan, Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) and Multi-Credit (Loans, High-Yield, Structured Credit and Special Situations) portfolios. We’re a collaborative group that values precision, ownership and proactive problem-solving. In this role, you’ll take charge of recurring deliverables such as client reports, presentations and investment commentary—ensuring timely and accurate output by coordinating across the business. You’ll also support the team with data sourcing, chart creation, and ad hoc analysis in partnership with our Portfolio Analytics team. It’s a fast-paced, detail-driven environment where your contributions will support our performance and client impact.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Product Management-IR Analyst (Liquid Credit)?
- You will manage the end-to-end process for the Liquid Credit Product team’s recurring deliverables which include producing accurate investor reports, updating presentations and writing market and fund commentary.
- You will also update and maintain investor-facing materials, including monthly and quarterly factsheets and commentaries.
- You will support central investor communications and coordinate reporting across the Benefit Street Partner-Alcentra liquid credit platform.
- You will work on ad-hoc investor requests, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.
- You will respond to client and consultant questionnaires related to funds and separately managed accounts.
- You will analyze data in Excel and translate data into clear, client-ready presentations with insightful charts and visuals that support investment narratives.
- You will manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality service to investors and stakeholders
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Experience, Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Economics.
- Some relevant experience completing similar tasks in Asset Management/Finance is preferred.
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
Technical Skills
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint – ability to manipulate data, build charts, and create client-ready presentations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy – avoidance of errors in client reports and presentations is critical.
- Some understanding of credit would be positive or previous experience in a different asset class would also be acceptable. An ability and eagerness to develop knowledge with respect to BSP Alcentra’s sub-investment grade credit strategies and wider business is essential.

- Client-focused attitude: we must meet all deadlines and avoid errors when working on client materials/requests.
- Ability to independently manage deliverables and take ownership of responsibilities without constant oversight.
