Your key responsibilities

As a Junior Vulnerability Analyst with the Vulnerability Management team, your primary responsibility will revolve around the identification and analysis of potential security vulnerabilities that threaten the firm's digital landscape. Leveraging a suite of assessment tools and employing structured analytical techniques, the analyst will play a crucial role in assessing security weaknesses, systematically evaluating their severity, and determining their potential impact on the organization. The analyst’s efforts will be pivotal in guiding stakeholders towards effective remediation strategies, encouraging vulnerabilities to be addressed efficiently. Furthermore, your commitment to staying at the forefront of cybersecurity trends will not only enhance your ability to identify emerging threats but also enrich the team's collective knowledge base, enabling the documentation of comprehensive findings and the formulation of insightful risk reports.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 2+ years of Information Security experience with a focus on vulnerability analysis
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and software vulnerabilities.
  • Well-developed open source research capabilities
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, and CVE is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience briefing team leads
  • A developing understanding of cybersecurity principles

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • An interest in multiple cybersecurity disciplines
  • 1+ years of incident response experience
  • Coursework in research and presentations
