Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in similar positions,
  • advanced knowledge of AP area,
  • excellence in people management and leadership skills,
  • fluency in English (at least B2),
  • experience in transition and project improvement will be an asset,
  • higher education preferably in the field of finance, accounting or economics will be an asset,
  • knowledge of SAP will be an asset,
  • commitment to work and proactive attitude,
  • demonstrates a proactive approach to personal development and actively shares knowledge and experience to support team growth,
  • able to effectively evaluate situations, prioritize based on importance and urgency, assess risks, and make well-informed, timely decision.

Responsibilities

  • manage an AP team and provide substantive support,
  • activities related to people management: recruiting new talents, setting individual and team goals, providing feedback, conducting employee evaluations ensuring further development of employees,
  • participating in automation and standardization projects,
  • managing daily workload for assigned entities,
  • coordination of month-end closing activities assigned to AP,
  • payment proposals review,
  • support of the team in invoice processing tasks and VAT check control, 
  • control of aging invoices, 
  • point of contact for auditors,
  • daily cooperation with the other finance and procurement teams.
