For our Client, an international retail company with a strong market position, we are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of the finance teams in their Shared Service Center based in Gdańsk. Requirements
- minimum 4-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting area,
- good understanding of accounting processes, including cost or PO-related invoices,
- good command of English (minimum B2 level),
- strong working knowledge of SAP ERP or S/4HANA,
- accuracy, proactivity, and willingness to share knowledge within the team.
Responsibilities
- processing and verifying incoming invoices (cost or PO-related),
- collaborating with finance, logistics, and operational teams across different countries,
- investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies,
- supporting month-end activities including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting,
- providing guidance and support to junior team members,
- actively participating in process automation and standardization initiatives.
