The FCU Technology team at PwC Polska includes over 100 IT specialists. The financial services industry operates in a challenging environment due to global economic pressures, increasing regulatory and capital requirements, and significant operational and technological changes. As FCU Technology, we provide innovative technological solutions, data analytics and consulting services for global PwC clients, responding to key challenges in the area of Anti Financial Crime (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA and implementation of financial sanctions, etc.).

We are looking for: 

Senior Data Analyst in FCU Technology Team 

Your future role: 

  • You will be involved in data analytics consulting projects - propose solutions, gather business and technical requirements, deliver data solutions,
  • You will collaborate with team members on client projects to develop data-driven solutions and recommendations for complex challenges, playing a pivotal role in project delivery while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders,
  • You will design, develop and implement management information products, dashboards and visualizations, analytical solutions and raw data extraction processes, mainly using PowerBI and SQL. You will also provide insights on transforming raw data into informative visualizations to support management decisions,
  • You will be responsible for modelling data structures, relationships, and queries,
  • You will collaborate across diverse teams – from developers to client representatives – ensuring smooth communication and solution delivery,
  • In addition to the above, you will keep up with latest Technology and Anti Financial Crime trends and work on internal initiatives developing new value propositions for our Clients.

Apply if you have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis,
  • Master’s degree (preferably in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or Computer Science),
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and visualize large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy,
  • Experience in presenting data and insights to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams,
  • Experience with gathering and documenting business requirements,
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel),
  • Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation, including the ability to write efficient queries and manage complex data transformation
  • Knowledge of data visualisation / dashboarding technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau),
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships,
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy,
  • Fluent written and spoken English,
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in international projects.

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with programming languages for process automations (e.g. Python),
  • Additional languages: German, Dutch or French.
