Our requirements

  • Proven hands-on expertise in ServiceNow CSDM (service modeling, mapping, service portfolio/service offerings, ownership model)
  • Strong background in CMDB architecture: CI class model, relationships, lifecycle, data certification, reconciliation concepts, data quality patterns
  • Good working knowledge of ITAM (asset lifecycle, compliance, license/entitlement concepts) and ITOM (Discovery/Service Mapping/Event Mgmt—architectural understanding)
  • Strong capability to build data governance frameworks (roles, controls, decision rights, operating model)
  • Consulting skills: stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, producing architecture/governance artefacts (blueprints, standards, TOM)
  • Experience in regulated environments (banking/insurance) and ability to design for auditability and control (segregation of duties, traceability)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia for a period of 4 months

Tasks

  • Provide strategic architecture and advisory for the ServiceNow platform with primary focus on CSDM, CMDB, ITAM and ITOM operating model (not delivery/implementation management)
  • Define and maintain the CSDM target state (service portfolio/service offering model, ownership, relationships and data standards)
  • Establish CMDB/CSDM governance: policies, standards, RACI, data ownership, stewardship, certification approach and auditability
  • Design the CMDB operating model: lifecycle ownership, data creation/maintenance rules, exception handling, quality controls and control points
  • Define data strategy for CMDB/ITAM/ITOM: sources of truth, integration principles, data ingestion patterns (Discovery/integrations), and data quality KPIs.
  • Align stakeholders across ITSM, ITOM, Security, Architecture, Risk and Audit on minimum data set, classification rules, and compliance requirements
  • Define measurement and reporting approach (e.g., CMDB Health, coverage, lifecycle compliance) and drive continuous improvement through governance forums
