Your Team
This role is part of our Finance Systems and Change team -- we're responsible for optimising our finance technology landscape, maintaining business-as-usual operations of systems across all finance divisions, and driving digitization initiatives across our global finance function. We deliver system enhancements, implement new solutions, and ensure our finance systems support both operational excellence and strategic business objectives.
Your role in the Team's Success
This role owns the complete product lifecycle for our treasury and reconciliation systems portfolio, including AutoRek (financial reconciliation and data management), FIS Integrity (Treasury Management System), and iRecs (broker reconciliation platform). You'll drive product strategy, manage vendor relationships, and ensure these critical systems effectively support global operations in managing client and corporate money, assets, liquidity, and payments. Your strategic vision and stakeholder management will shape how these systems evolve to meet business needs while delivering operational efficiency and risk management.
What you'll do
- Define and maintain product vision and roadmaps for AutoRek, FIS Integrity TMS, and iRecs platforms, balancing operational efficiency, risk management, and strategic initiatives
- Own strategic vendor relationships with API Limited, FIS, and Watson Wheatley including influencing product roadmaps, negotiating commercial terms, and managing performance against SLAs
- Act as the voice of Treasury, Cash Operations, and broker reconciliation teams by translating business needs into detailed product requirements with clear acceptance criteria
- Lead agile delivery of system enhancements, manage product backlogs across platforms, and coordinate with Finance Systems Team for technical implementation
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, facilitate governance forums, and manage competing priorities while serving as subject matter expert for reconciliation and treasury systems
- Define and track KPIs for reconciliation efficiency and treasury operations, monitor system adoption, and measure business value delivered to ensure ROI and operational excellence
- Champion process improvements and drive user adoption through effective go-to-market strategies, UAT oversight, and comprehensive product documentation
What you'll need for this role
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management or business analysis experience in financial services
- Proven track record managing vendor relationships, commercial negotiations, and multiple products simultaneously
- Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity, payments, and reconciliation processes
- University degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional stakeholder management across all organizational levels with ability to influence without authority
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and successful system implementations
- Understanding of reconciliation and treasury system architectures including APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Excellent written and verbal communication with data-driven decision-making approach
- Knowledge of on-premise and cloud deployment models with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with AutoRek, FIS Integrity TMS, or Watson Wheatley iRecs platforms
- Product management certification (CSPO, CPM, or equivalent)
- Accounting qualification or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Knowledge of financial services regulations, controls, and SOX compliance requirements
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools
- Experience driving build vs. buy decisions and cloud migration strategies
