Sen. Financial Planning & Analysis Mgr

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, manage, and analyze financial data. Each day, you will provide service and support to business and functional controllers. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial accounting and reporting, as well as optimize controlling and planning outcomes.

This role contributes to the FP&A organization at Headquarters and reports to the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. The main stakeholders are cost center owners, as well as business and functional controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing the monthly Headquarter (HQ) Sanity review documentation
• Leading an accurate, high quality and timely intra-group invoicing and cash collection, monthly process for Headquarter companies
• Conducting the Headquarter (HQ) Master Data Governance – Finance (MDG-F) process as preparer and for supporting HQ TOA approver, HQ Specialist, and HQ Steward
• Maintaining the HQ Budget Tool
• Supporting Global Product Group Controllers to ensure accurate global data reporting
• Helping the Company Controller with accounting, reporting, and controlling processes for Group reporting (US GAAP) as per ABB Group Standards, and ABB Accounting & Reporting Policies

Qualifications:

• You enjoy working with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software (SAP and HFM)
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Reporting
• You possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• You are innovative around outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, and you have a strong team spirit as well as a collaborative and solution-focused approach
• Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
• You are at ease communicating in English (written and spoken)
