Finance Manager (Professional Services) (m/f)

Requirements

• solid experience in a senior finance role within an international organisation (approx. 10 years), ideally in financial services,
• experience in managing and developing finance teams,
• strong knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS, with a solid background in corporate accounting,
• experience with financial systems (e.g. Navision, Adaptive or similar),
• results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment,
• strong communication and stakeholder management skills,
• fluent in English and Polish,
• proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement and high standards.

Responsibilities

• lead and oversee all finance and accounting activities in Poland, including managing and developing the local finance team,
• deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in line with group requirements, supporting consolidation and key business decisions,
• take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives,
• manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities, including optimisation of available funds and dividend planning,
• act as a key finance partner to senior stakeholders, including the European Finance Director and local Managing Director,
• coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the business is well-prepared and that any findings are effectively addressed,
• oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance (VAT, CIT), payroll, and intercompany transactions,
• maintain a strong financial control framework and ensure adherence to internal policies and reporting deadlines,
• identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting quality, and drive operational efficiency through data and KPI analysis,
• support business transformation and integration initiatives across the Polish entity,
• contribute to the development and optimisation of finance systems and data tools (e.g. ERP, reporting solutions, Power BI),
• collaborate with regional finance teams on ad-hoc projects and complex accounting topics.
