Tax Junior Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will support the implementation and roll-out of the Real-Time Data Monitoring system across in-scope ABB countries and contributes to the execution of monitoring activities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid #Li-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing tax process expertise in one or more tax areas, supporting senior stakeholders in delivering the ABB Tax strategy and global initiatives.
• Contributing to the implementation of tax process monitoring and automation frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Leveraging advanced SAP technologies and data analytics to monitor and enhance the tax processes.
• Identifying, supporting resolution and addressing process inefficiencies, collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions using data for decision making.
• Supporting the deployment of Real-Time Data Monitoring system and ensuring comprehensive process and system documentation.
• Performing testing (UAT) activities and initiating sustainable process improvements.
• Delivering training to users on Real-Time Data Monitoring system features and operational processes.
• Contributing to effective execution of task monitoring activities & ad-hoc data analysis.

Qualifications for the role:

• You possess a degree in Economics, Business Management or Computer Science.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Tax or analytics area.
• You are at ease communicating in English
• You have an understanding of ERP and tax end-to-end processes.
• You possess knowledge of SAP Tax Compliance application & SQL Fundamentals (a plus).
• You are analytical, possess problem-solving and communication skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels within the organization.
• You are proficient in data analysis tools and reporting platforms.
