For our Client, a growing organization operating in the clinical and healthcare sector, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller Poland who will combine a strong controlling background with team leadership responsibilities. This role focuses on financial performance management, business partnering and leading finance teams in a hands-on, results-driven environment.

Requirements

  • minimum 5 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis or similar roles,
  • previous experience in team leadership or coordination,
  • strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis,
  • advanced Excel skills and good command of MS Office tools,
  • analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into business recommendations,
  • strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders,
  • proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach,
  • fluent English (minimum B2 level).

Responsibilities

  • leading and developing accounting teams, ensuring efficiency, accountability and high-quality delivery,
  • overseeing core financial processes with a strong focus on controlling, reporting and data accuracy,
  • coordinating month-end closing and ensuring timely preparation of key financial reports,
  • preparing management reporting and providing clear insights on revenue, costs and business performance,
  • analyzing variances, trends and key drivers, recommending actions to improve financial results,
  • acting as a finance business partner to management, supporting decision-making with data and insights,
  • supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes,
  • driving improvements in financial processes, reporting standards and cost control,
  • cooperating with external stakeholders such as auditors and financial institutions.
