BI Senior Analyst with API

YOUR TASKS

• Lead development and implementation for BI application solutions with data modeling and visualization to meet business needs. Collaborate with Customer Business Operations team to deliver strategic and operational BI actionable insights.
• Present and articulately debate BI domain recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Conduct requirement gathering and project scoping sessions to define and document business analytics and reporting needs.
• Take lead initiative in assignments to resolve problems, exercise judgment and make recommendations and resolutions.
• Publish white papers, maintain a repository of technical solutions, BI best practices and design/coding guidelines and standards. Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning sessions across the team.
• Ensure full testing for reports and dashboards.
• Develop and present recommendations towards the API design and development of platform system solutions across broad disciplines and functional areas.
• Lead development and implementation of platform related integrations through the project life cycle. Leverage API, Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices for integration development.
• Optimize performance of existing reporting and keep the optimization approach for the new reports as well.
• Manage and administer using services, including workspace management, data gateway configuration, and user access control.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of application environment.

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years analytical work experience or data product owner role.
• 3+ years of industry experience in API development or related field, preferably working with GraphQL or other data query and manipulation language for APIs (RESTful, XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP).
• Superior analytical and quantitative skills, business requirements understanding and creativity in problem solving. Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audience.
• Consulting or Financial Services experience preferred.
• Proficient with analytical tools supporting data analysis, reporting and visualization – Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or other equivalent class.
• Experience using cloud integration platforms for connecting cloud and on-premise applications and data. Experience modeling data, including using machine learning approaches.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional language skills an advantage.
• Proficiency with server-side languages like .NET, Python, Java is a plus.
