About the department

Franklin Templeton International Services (FTIS) is the Luxembourg-based management company supporting Franklin Templeton’s European strategy. The team manages Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) across multiple European jurisdictions, with a growing focus on private equity, private debt, real estate, and infrastructure strategies. Working closely with specialist investment managers, product teams, and external partners, FTIS plays a critical role in launching and overseeing complex alternative funds. Joining this team means contributing to a fast-growing private assets platform, shaping operating models, and working at the center of strategic growth initiatives.

How you will add value

Core Responsibilities

  • You will coordinate onboarding of new alternative investment funds.
  • You will design and maintain a repeatable onboarding framework.
  • You will automate onboarding processes to improve efficiency.
  • You will centralize onboarding information for key stakeholders.
  • You will enhance operating models for future fund launches.

Oversight Responsibilities

  • You will enforce and improve the outsourcing control model.
  • You will review and update oversight frameworks to reflect regulatory changes.
  • You will promote strong governance and challenge ineffective practices.
  • You will ensure governance meets regulatory and industry best practices.
  • You will hold departments accountable for effective outsourcing controls.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • You will develop operating models with new fund sponsors.
  • You will assess and improve oversight frameworks for regulatory compliance.
  • You will implement scalable governance and control solutions.

Team & Collaboration

  • You will partner with product teams, specialist investment managers, and service providers.
  • You will strengthen delegation and outsourcing controls.
  • You will review oversight activities and challenge deliverables.
  • You will support governance committees and executive reporting.
  • You will contribute to cross-regional projects and initiatives.

What will help you be successful in this role

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years in asset management or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with private asset investment funds.
  • Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of investment fund regulation.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with sound judgment.
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and regulators.
