
For our Client, fast developing PE-backed company from new technogy industry, we are looking for candidates for Regional Finance Director who will be responsible will lead all financial activities across Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria with annual sales up to €80 million. The role is responsible for statutory reporting, controlling, and FP&A, ensuring strong financial governance, business insight, and operational performance across the region.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field,
- professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred,
- experience in PE-backed companies will be a strong asset as well as M&A and post perger integration,
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles,
- proven experience in statutory reporting, controlling, and FP&A,
- demonstrated experience leading and developing medium-sized finance teams,
- strong technical accounting and financial analysis expertise,
- excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills,
- ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a mid-sized business environment,
- strong communication skills across multicultural and multilingual environments.
Responsibilities
- act as the senior finance leader for CEE Region, partnering closely with regional management and country leadership teams,
- provide financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making and operational performance,
- actvively take part in M&A and Post Merger Integration process,
- support regional growth initiatives, investments, and cost optimization programs,
- ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting,
- coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities,
- ensure robust internal controls and adherence to company policies,
- lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and management reporting processes,
- monitor financial performance versus budget, forecast, and prior year,
- analyze variances and drive corrective actions with business stakeholders,
- ensure consistent application of controlling standards and KPIs across all countries,
- own the regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes,
- provide actionable insights on revenue, margin, cost structure, and cash flow,
- support pricing, contract profitability, and service line performance analysis,
- lead, develop, and motivate a finance team of up to 15 FTE across the region,
- drive standardization, automation, and efficiency across finance processes.
