Department Overview

The EMEA Treasury Department is the central engine for the region’s financial stability and liquidity management. Our Team makes sure the company always has the cash it needs to run smoothly across the region. We act as the company’s internal bank and maintain strong, professional relationships with our partner banks. We also help our business teams by setting up bank guarantees and supporting payments.

Job Description

The Junior Treasury Specialist will support the daily operations of the treasury department, focusing on cash management, liquidity monitoring, and financial risk reporting. This is an entry-to-mid-level role designed for a detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in corporate finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports.
  • Cash Optimization: Execute short-term money market investments to manage excess cash and handle all interest calculations for regional pools.
  • Payments: Process and track payments using different banking systems.
  • Admin: Manage user access for banking platforms and the treasury station.
  • Bank Accounts: Manage EMEA bank accounts (opening, closing, and updating signatories).
  • Intercompany Loans: Handle intercompany loan agreements and documentation.
  • Month-End: Support the finance team with treasury tasks during the month-end close.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience: Up to 1 year of experience in Finance or Accounting (internships are highly valued).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data compilation and analysis.
  • AI & Innovation: A proactive interest in exploring AI tools and a willingness to integrate them into daily workflows to improve efficiency and data insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different locations and departments.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical and technical skills with a genuine desire to dive into the details.
  • Collaboration: A dedicated team player who enjoys interacting with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Reliability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Mindset: A "can-do" attitude characterized by high energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to learning.
