
For our Client, a private debt fund, specializing in secured corporate lending, we are looking for executive-level position of the Head of Business Development and Origination. The firm provides flexible, short-term financing solutions to entrepreneurs and company investors. As the business continues its dynamic growth, we are looking for an entrepreneurial commercial leader to drive origination, expand the portfolio and shape the firm's future growth strategy. Success in this role will be measured primarily by the ability to originate new transactions, leverage your network and build long-term client relationships. The main office is in Warsaw (hybrid work model available).

Requirements
- proven track record in secured corporate lending or private debt transactions,
- an established network among entrepreneurs, real estate developers and investors,
- demonstrated ability to consistently generate high-quality deal flow,
- experience with real estate-backed financing and collateral structures,
- commercial mindset with outstanding relationship-building and negotiation skills,
- leadership experience managing commercial teams,
- entrepreneurial, hands-on approach with strong execution capabilities,
- charismatic personality with the ability to build trust,
- experience in mezzanine financing, structured finance or investment banking,
- previous exposure to capital markets or bond issuance,
- existing portfolio of relationships that could be developed into business opportunities,
- fluency in Polish and professional English.
Responsibilities
- originate new secured lending opportunities across Poland,
- build and expand the company's portfolio of short-term corporate loans,
- leverage your existing network of entrepreneurs, developers, investors, brokers and financial advisers to generate high-quality deal flow,
- develop relationships with new clients while expanding existing strategic accounts,
- lead commercial negotiations from initial contact through closing,
- shape and execute the company's business development strategy,
- leverage your existing network of entrepreneurs, developers, investors, brokers and financial advisers to generate high-quality deal flow,
- manage, coach and support a team of Business Development professionals,
- work closely with the investment, underwriting and management teams to structure attractive financing solutions.
