Contracting & Procurement Department – who we are
We are a team of ambitious, motivated and open minded people responsible for acquisition of goods and services for Shell businesses across the globe. We stay connected with Shell business partners, jointly developing and executing sourcing strategies to generate value by ensuring competitive commercial terms and securing business continuity.

  • Sourcing

Sourcing teams support Shell’s businesses and functions across the world by setting up commercial agreements with suppliers for variety of goods and services. Becoming part of this team you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial agreements, building strong relationships with internal and external partners, drafting and processing contracts in the systems and taking part in negotiations of legal terms and conditions.

  • RtP / SSU team

The Requisition to Pay (RtP) and SSU analysts ensure that all commercial transactions are conducted in line with Shell’s guidelines and category management policies. As a member of the team, you will be cooperating with managers and buyers in maintenance of contracts, executing various Purchase Order (PO) activities, providing advice to stakeholders and analyzing issues related to process non-compliance as well as late payment of invoices to improve performance.

  • Contractor Service Desk

Contractor Service Desk is the newest team, founded to be the single global channel for sourcing and managing contractor talents, providing hiring- and project managers with end-to-end services. Your duties will include onboarding and offboarding of contractor personnel, supporting managers with maintenance of assignments and project agreements. You will be working closely with other Shell departments, such as HR and Finance to enhance business experience in providing guidance on supplier selection and commercial aspects.

  • Systems and Process Innovation

The mission of the Systems & Process Innovation team is to build, own, deploy and maintain CP tools and systems through simplifying the portfolio of systems with common platforms and processes across businesses and implementing automation solutions to provide cost-efficient and effective end-to-end operations. The team also ensures the realization of planned benefits from the investment in systems and processes.

  • Ask CP

Ask CP is a single 'go-to' organization with group of advisors and specialists providing support and expertise to business partners with electronic tendering process, “eSourcing” including preparation of tender package, development evaluation models and system set up. Ask CP Team supports also business partners and colleagues with systems and CP processes related issues. Solving problems and helping others will be your daily job.





Requirements:

What skills should you have to join Contracting & Procurement Development Program?

  • Commercial or Technical Degree
  • Fluent English (C1 is a must)
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to make decisions and execute them with support of stakeholders
  • Eye for detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to adopt to dynamic international environment
  • Knowledge of procurement tactics is an advantage
  • Understanding of contract law and contract execution is a plus
