Join us as a Client Invoicing Expert

 

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting the Client Invoicing Expert to join our Invoice Creation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for invoice generation and quality review of bills before they are distributed to BBH Investor Services Clients. The position provides support and coverage to the team and assists the Invoice Creation Team Leader via quality control check, invoice approvals, training new hires within the department and overseeing the process and performance. You will work across Service Delivery and other Client Invoicing teams to resolve client inquiries and billing variances. The role focuses on the daily task management while working with the Team Leader on process improvement and providing feedback for the strategic direction of the team.  

 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Perform quality review and approval of daily, weekly and monthly invoicing process.
  • Prepare and maintain procedures.
  • Provide management with daily status of invoice cycle tasks.
  • Partner and communicate across Service Deliver and Relationship Management teams to resolve client inquiries.
  • Analyze billing variances and client inquiries, identify the root cause of the discrepancy and own resolution.
  • Escalate potential service issues to management.
  • Perform quality review of complex “high risk” billing exceptions.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, management and clients.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client service and improve quality by focusing on process improvement.
  • Maintain issue log and lead periodic status calls with each servicing office globally.
  • Lead team projects and assignments, as assigned.
  • Participate in procedural best practice reviews and automation initiatives.
  • Assist in cross training peers to ensure ample coverage during volume peaks.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in finance data analysis.
  • Strong client service skills.
  • Independent decision making skills.
  • High attention to details and conscientious approach to delivering high quality standards.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach dealing with the client's and the organization's evolving needs.
  • Focused on process improvement and achieving the team and BBH goals.
  • Fluent English (C1).
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion, Cognos and Business Objects would be an additional asset.
