Associate - Accounts Payable Czech Speaker
Work location: Kraków

Job description:
Member of a Global FI coding team within Expenditure deparment taking care of Downstream and Upstream entities with main scope in CEE countries.

 - Timely and accurate processing – take ownership and initiative until transaction is successfully and accurately processed in accordance with standard procedures set out in the AP Work Instruction as well as in the agreed-upon country specific guideline
- Ensure that all inputs are correct prior to completion or posting of invoices to avoid re-work and corrections

- Collate and input data with high level of accuracy and in accordance with Service Level Agreements
- Input information into systems, maintain and update account records
- Answer stakeholders requests for information in a helpful and friendly way
- Communicate with internal and external customer in a polite and helpful manner
- Act as an effective team player
- Maintain and implement agreed self-development plan
- Ensure that all relevant Shell and SBO standards and guidelines are met
- Carry out other assignments by the supervisors

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration preferred
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic Financial Accounting knowledge
- English communication skills written and oral (B2)
- Czech and/or Slovakian language skills written and oral (B2)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Computer literate - knowledge of SAP application and other Microsoft software is a plus
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Fast and accurate data input skills
- Attention to details
- Customer focus
- Ability to work autonomously while keeping other team members informed as appropriate
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to recognize issues, attempt resolution and escalate problems if unable to resolve
