Purpose Of Role:

The team in Poland supports Collateral Services, Frankfurt team in the execution of the various tasks and processes involved in providing services to around 35 clients. The client’s portfolios include a range of underlying transactions (OTC, Security Lending etc). The service that is provided ensures all clients are fully collateralized on a day to day basis with their trading partners (counterparts) in each active agreement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and timely execution of processing is undertaken by Associates for our clients and their counterparties.
  • Prepare and plan workloads to ensure client and internal SLA specified deadlines are met.
  • Review all reporting produced by the Associates
  • Point of contact for any routine/escalation queries raised by internal departments
  • Ensure aged/material items are resolved on a timely basis as per corporate standards.
  • Daily communication with the Collateral Services team in Frankfurt or relevant internal department on outstanding items in conjunction with Team Leader.
  • Maintaining and fostering a team environment.
  • Ensure any internal/external audit queries are dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Review and document process flows/procedures and contribute new ideas/procedures to further streamline the operational process
  • Mentoring and development of the team through goal and objective setting in co-operation with Team Leader.
  • Ensure that relevant reporting is prepared and reviewed in a timely manner
  • Assists in the operational rollout of new products and systems

 

Qualifications:

  • Communicate effectively and accurately in English (both verbal and written)
  • Good organizational skills along with a the ability to work efficiently and accurately at times under pressure (deadlines etc).
  • Good working knowledge of software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an understanding of the rudimentary aspects of the global financial industry and also to Collateral Management would be advantageous
  • Experience in a commercial environment such as banking or insurance is a plus
  • Working shifts 8:00 - 18:00 OR 10:00 - 20:00
