For our client, one of the biggest financial services companies we are looking for Application Support Analysts.

Application Support Analysts will embrace Agile methodology and Open Source technologies. Our stack includes Java, Apache, Tomcat, Unix, Oracle, DB2 and SQL databases, and AngularJS.

Qualifications:

• Ability to support Distributed applications using Unix shell scripting and Java/J2EE, and C++ technologies.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, PL/SQL and Oracle Databases
• Familiarity with DB2 SQL, including some mainframe experience (cobol/CICS/DB2/VSAM).
• Familiarity with message queues/MQ processing.
• Familiarity with Windows and Windows batch processes
• Occasional weekend work/on-call rotational duties.
• Ability to speak directly with users to gather and analyze requirements
• Ability to work independently and network with colleagues in other locations and time zones
• Understanding of SDLC processes and procedures
• Strong spoken and written communication ability
• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 2-5 years of experience in software development and/or production support required
• Knowledge of vendor package “Global One” or vendor package “Trading Apps” are pluses, but not required
• Knowledge of the Securities Lending business is a plus, but not required.
