Building the future of product lifecycle management in Arla
We are building common processes and a common platform across all Arla to manage the lifecycle of all our products. This includes handling all the data around products such as ingredients, recipes, packaging specifications etc. We are looking for an expert with previous good experience in doing data migration to help us in the journey of moving all our existing product data from the scattered system landscape into one coherent PLM system. We are looking for a data migration specialist that has technical expertise with various data formats, tools, databases and systems and that has excellent skills in building and programming tools for automatic data migration as well as techniques for migrating complex and sometimes unstructured data. Your main tasks will be together with our data migration team to:

• Define the different data migration approaches for the different data in the different systems
• Together with the business and other teams in the PLM define the data migration rules and steps
• Design and develop automated data migration tools including data extraction, data cleansing, data transformation and data load
• Ensuring data quality and completeness in the migration process
• Be part of the specific migration and cut-over activities when rolling out the new PLM system and moving existing processes and data into the future solution

Expert skills and previous experience in complex data migration
You should have great analytic skills and know the pitfalls when moving data from a scattered system landscape into one coherent database. You should be able to understand the migration rules and develop tools for automated migration, and you should be able to ensure high level of data quality. As you will work closely together with both the business and other teams you need good cooperation and communication skills.

• You hold a BA or MA in computer science or computer engineering
• You have in-depth experience in data migration techniques, tools and concepts
• You can work easily with different data sources and databases
• You have an expertise in SAP Data Services
• You have basic understanding of Java programming
• You master English written and verbally on a high level and have the possibility to travel 20-30 days per year
