Stakeholder Relations Advisor in External Relations

Job description:

Maintain oversight of key civil society stakeholders, including NGOs, academia and think tanks to understand stakeholder perspectives.  

 

Accountabilities:

  • Sensing, analysis and reporting of stakeholder activity of interest to Shell business and reputation 

  • Helping the business to effectively utilise the relationships managed by the Center of Excellance 

  • Monitor global civil society stakeholder activity that may impact Shell’s business 

  • Provide regular civil society updates including early warning, analysis of trends, insights and forward looking developments 

  • Provide guidance, support and advice on civil society landscape to colleagues in External Relations, other functions and businesses, including ad hoc requests for in-depth analysis and further intelligence 

  • Coordinate licenses and training 

  • Provide management reports & run/maintain selected dashboards 

  • Maintain the Stakeholder Relations team sharepoint 

  • Maintain and update the overview of all Voluntary Commitments and owners  

  • Support Sustainability Report Integration Manager with Data Gathering Questionnaire  

  • Promote use of  Yammer group through sharing of tips and suggested usage enhanecements  

 

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English both written/spoken with excellent writing skills. min. C1/C2

  • Analytical abilities to work complex issues and information, distill key messages  

  • Confident in the use of and solid understanding the impact of social media 

  • Being curios about the industry

  • Flexibility and creativity 

  • Very good communication skills 

  • University degree

  • Experience in NGOs sector would be an asset
