Job Purpose:
The focus of this role will be to work as one with the New Energies CP Team to deliver operational/tactical contracts to the respective New Energies business lines, enabling the Business to achieve their goals at speed with easier, faster contracting.
The role will require occasional travel to both strengthen teamwork and build business intimacy.
This portfolio of New Energies CP activities will provide the opportunity for the right candidate to move into the more complex, commercial contracting space working directly with New Energies business partners.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage end to end (E2E) contract and spend management for New Energies
- Contracting and procuring goods and services as well as developing and managing agreements in close collaboration with the NE Category Manager.
- Work with business counterparts to support business development and market entry needs.
- Applying leading edge supply chain management techniques, supply/value chain analyses and modeling
- Analyzing Contracting & Procurement business requirements and external market dynamics
- Developing and executing commercial contract strategies as well as operationalizing and commercially managing operational/tactical agreements
- Ensure all commercial ctivities are executed in line with the Category Management and Contracting Process for assigned operational/tactical contracts.
- Manage once-off Purchase Orders, drive rationalization of vendors and PO/contracts as appropriate
- Ensure continuity of supply and compliance of contracting policy in managing ad-hoc business requirements.
- Deliver cost savings impacting RDS bottom line.
Requirements:
Skills & Requirements
- Fluent English,
- Min. 6 years of experience with commercial transactions or negotiation,
- Ability to make decisions and execute with support of stakeholders,
- Proven track record of execution excellence and delivering results in a commercial environment,
- Support execution and call-off of Framework agreements,
- Well organised and able to manage competing priorities without a lot of direction and support from the line,
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently,
- Good commercial sense and understanding of procurement,
- Demonstrate understanding of the Group CMCP process and commercial contract management technique,
- Good negotiations skills,
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus, for example GSAP, Blueprint and SERP
