Operations Adviser - Data/Information Management
Operations Adviser - Data/Information Management
Work location: Kraków

Job description:

The ER Operations Adviser supports two key functional teams; 1) Social Performance (SP) Centre of Excellence and 2) UK Downstream Social Investment. 

 

Socia Performance

Supporting role all reporting and data platform requirements including:

  • Social Investment (Annual & Quarterly) - analysis of voluntary and required social investment expenditure; analysis of social and business outcomes (global, regional, business, country, by spend, etc.)

  • Community Feedback and Business Interruptions (Quarterly) - global and regional classification of the number of complaints; global and regional reporting on business interruptions and correlation to community feedback

  • Data & Reporting Platform – support the development, testing and rollout of data systems transitioning to the Salesforce platform. 

  • Working with the appropriate focal point to identify emerging trends in digitalization and greater data analysis capability. 

  • Monitor the effectiveness of data management tools and informing continuous improvements.

  • Contribute to creating awareness and training for end users in relation to any new tool that SP CoE adopts to record and analyse data.

  • Validation of data with multiple stakeholders and data owners, and quality control of analysis.

  • Timely provision of verified data and analysis for key reports,

  • Supporting ad-hoc requests for analysis to support business development decisions and external events

UK Social Investment

Supports the Social Investment Manager to:

  • Manage spend and programme-impact reporting

  • Manage supplier contracts and sponsorship and donation agreements.

  • Manage Shell Employee Action Grants programme, including contractor management, internal communications, responding to queries from Shell staff and pensioners and on-going evaluation of supplier.

  • Manage process for reviewing and responding to third party funding requests and proposals, including liaising with Country Chair Office.

  • Maintaining the Social Investment intranet pages.

  • Ensure team compliance with Anti-bribery & Corruption and Records Management requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in data analysis, information management and digital visualisation and financial management.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to drive process efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to work well with others and build relationships of trust in a virtual environment across, multiple time zones in different social and cultural contexts.

  • Working knowledge of Report One (Finance), Salesforce, Power BI would be an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal, writing and speaking skills

  • English min. C1

  • University degree
