Candidate’s profile

What you absolutely need to have:

• Excellent knowledge of PHP, including Object Oriented techniques and design patterns. Any experience working with other modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony is a distinct advantage
• An appreciation of modern web application techniques, such as integrating modern JavaScript frameworks into applications.
• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React is an advantage
• Good all-round web development experience, including an awareness of industry best practices and standards such as accessibility, usability, and web standards
• A solid understanding of mobile software design patterns and good programming practices 
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• At least 2 years of commercial experience producing web applications

What would really help your application:

• Experience with WordPress (theme coding, WordPress multisite network, custom post types and taxonomies, plugin integrations etc.)
• Experience delivering web solutions in an integrated environment, with an understanding of how to optimize solutions to gain performance and stability
• Awareness of DevOps – including Configuration Management, Environment Management, Release Management, and Automation
• A solid understanding of security concepts and best practices 
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, InVision 
• Experience working with Jira, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban 
• Experience working in a marketing/interactive agency or similar.

Capgemini’s in-house agency, MACS Poland, has over 60 copywriters, marketers, designers and developers from a wide variety of backgrounds and nationalities and we are currently looking for a Web Developer to join us and fuel our continued growth.

Based in Krakow, Poland you will work in a global team with the sharpest and most experienced marketers, content creators, consultants, and sales teams in the industry. As a Web Developer in our team, you’ll be working on everything from landing pages, small websites, internal web applications, scalable back ends and custom APIs. You’ll work closely with our marketers, content creators, developers, and designers to create high-quality compelling user experiences that will be used to support global and regional sales and marketing activities.
