Job description:
People

  • Supports team members development, succession plan, coach and motivate the team
  • Ensure learning opportunities for each team member
  • Aligns team & individual objectives to achieve company’s goals
  • Reviews and assesses performance of team members
  • Support and motivate the team, acting as a point of referral on all personal and performance issues, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
  • Participate in recruitment process

 

Process

  • Ensure KPIs are reported, analysed and improvement plans are developed if SLA is not met to drive best practice procedures and influence OU practices
  • Sets the right priorities regarding multiple work and demands
  • Participates in both internal SBO and Shell Group projects as required
  • Ensure delivery of training in the area of expertise and proper execution of hand-over procedures
  • Delivers the daily operations for entities in scope with the drive to standardize and improve the process
  • Ensures knowledge maintenance, successful handovers and process continuity
  • Manages migrations and scope changes, cooperate with other FO departments on setting up new entities
  • Maintenance the BCP and Interoperability readiness for critical activities
  • Acts as escalation contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively collaborate across Global FO organization on process design and improvements

 

Requirements:
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in various financial/accounting positions
  • Min 1-2 years of supervisory experience would be an asset
  • Obtained economic, accounting or finance university degree/ qualifications
  • Self-motivation, self-starting who is able to build and lead a team and manage/integrate with others in different functions and in a multicultural and diverse business environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of various ERP systems
  • Fluent in English - both written and verbal communication
  • Resilient under pressure (both internal and external)
  • Practical knowledge/application of MS Office tools, esp. Excel and Power Point
