We are currently looking for:

Technical Security Specialist - Global Security Team
Technical Security Specialist - Global Security Team
Location: Kraków, małopolskie

As a Technical Security Specialist you will support the implementation and management of various infrastructures and programs that are essential components of the Physical Security Technology Program including: Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV Systems, the Global Security Operations Center and associated security technologies. The position supports all aspects of execution, facilitation, and the delivery of all related services. In this role you will manage the daily security technology operations in the region and escalate to the Senior Security Manager as needed. Specific duties will vary but there will be a key focus on using BBH Global Security procedures as well as the security industry’s best practices to mitigate risk and protect the Firm’s assets and personnel.

Responsibilities for your role would include:

1. Security System Design, Maintenance and System Implementation

  • Assist in the coordination of planning and integration of physical security design for capital construction and renovation process, inclusive of working with external consultants and project managers. Conduct construction document review (blue prints, bid specs, budgets) for new construction projects and renovation projects. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise and collaborate with the facilities on all hardware related to security and access control devices.
  • Collect and analyze data and information to make specific recommendations regarding security and access control system specifications, including cost and completion times.
  • Develop and support the physical security system design and budget recommendations along with planning and background materials for presentation.
  • Business continuity planning and risk management within the context of technical security operations.   

 

2. Security System Program Management

  • Assist in coordinating the operations and integration of all global physical security systems including; intrusion detection, video and access control systems
  • Help to develop processes to confirm the effective operation of these systems, troubleshoot and promptly resolve all issues.
  • Analyze and participate in the development of firm standards as they relate to physical security systems from research, planning and design to implementation and maintenance. 
  • Coordinate the appropriate installation, maintenance and repair programs for all systems with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Provide project planning and management (within defined budget) to ensure the delivery of complex projects in a timely way to meet deadlines and maintain high level of productivity across multiple project teams. 
  • Help coordinate and ensure the integration of physical security system design with the Information Technology Services team to insure full functionality of systems, applications, policies, project development and delivery and overall services.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget forecasting and requests with supporting documentation (i.e. taking inventory, projecting end of life on various systems, etc). Ensure all budgeted projects are completed and billed accordingly. Assist in forecasting major expenditures necessary to maintain the efficient and effective operation of security technology. 
  • Collaborate with systems technology and facilities to ensure effective and secure planning and operations in IP based video management systems software and hardware; door access systems software and hardware including card readers and biometric readers; and electronic lock systems including software and hardware. Maintains and manages the physical access control system, CCTV and intruder alarms
  • Ensures compliance to BBH policies and procedures on Cyber and Information Security standards. Monitors, maintains and remediates gaps identified by this and escalates to manager accordingly.

 

3. General Administration

  • Ensures all security equipment is functioning properly - initiate preventive & corrective maintenance
  • Manages security vendors
  • Manages technical security programs for the region
  • Ensures that correct security measures are in place to prevent unauthorized access into BBH space
  • Prepares and maintains operating procedures and supports in managing service level agreements with security vendors

 

Qualifications for your role would include:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • Position requires five years of technical security management experience in multi facility operations.
  • Physical access control systems qualifications.
  • Understanding of Risk Management and compliance 
  • Excellent written and oral communication presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity a variety of access control solutions, CCTV systems and best practice in these areas
  • Verbal and written English skills required
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and manage as well as work independently
  • Should have excellent knowledge and ability to administer the Physical Access Control System
  • Industry certification in C-Cure 9000 or similar systems
