Job description:

Purpose & Accountabilities :
Involvement in automation and improvement of HC processes –possibility to develop in sub-processes such as Contracts & Pricing, Stock Valuation, HM Exchange, Stock Recording & Reconciliation – in order to increase efficiency and automation with the use of building advanced Excel spreadsheets and macros.
It will be possible to investigate the end-to-end Hydrocarbon process and find further areas for improvements following Lean Sigma methodology.

Requirements:
Support increasing process automation and efficiency with the use of expertise knowledge of Excel through building advanced Excel spreadsheets and macros
Effectively prioritise the requests for automation development and challenge the need as appropriate.
Maintain base of created macro solutions on Macro Inventory with identified owner for each solution accountable for documentation
Resolve process issues with help of other teams, both within and outside Finance department
Share Excel and VBA knowledge between team members
Contribute to continuous process improvement and simplification
Ensure appropriate process documentation, roles and procedures
Resolve process issues with help of other teams, both within and outside Finance as well as with support from Design Architects and Design Manager
Explore other automation technologies that could add value and be part of strategy for future digitalisation
