We put a lot of care into our internship programs as they help us identify our future hires and leaders. During the internship you will join Tools and Automation Team. You will be part of the group developing enterprise wide monitoring solution for our infrastructure and applications. Your tasks will involve building interfaces between monitoring tools, developing and configuring monitoring agents or writing scripts for specific monitoring cases.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Deployment Automation – writing Ansible playbooks for the automated deployment of monitoring solution components and their configuration
- Standardization – developing templates for the configuration of monitoring agents and agentless checks
- Configuration – configuring agent based and agentless monitoring of infrastructure and applications
- Design and Innovation – preparing and presenting to the Team proposals for improvements of the architecture, technology or work organization
- Quality Management – working with the Quality Management teams to assure compliance with the quality assurance standard procedures and protocols
- Release Management - assisting with releasing process of the solution components
Key requirements:
- 3rd, 4th or 5th year students of Computer Science or related field and/or with equivalent work experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments
- Knowledge of Python, scripting languages, SQL
- Knowledge of Git, Ansible, Selenium or similar tools would be a plus
- Knowledge of Agile/waterfall project management methodology would be a plus
- A high level of written and spoken English as you will be communicating with colleagues from our global offices daily
