The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join EY’s Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) group within our EMEIA Tax Centre and are currently seeking Managers to join the ETC’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Poland to support our Global Clients.
Your key responsibilities

coordination of the global statutory reporting compliance for Global Clients,

coordination and review of the activities that are performed in the Centers of Excellence and EY local offices,
-
providing detailed insight in the Group GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliation to group management,
-
align directly with Client counterpart to agree processes and protocols, handover points, etc.,
-
liaising with the Client Global Process Owners to identify and discuss continuous improvements opportunities,
-
partner with Clients to develop, implement and manage client finance objectives or strategic processes,
-
coaching, developing the team of junior and senior accountants.
Skills and attributes for success
- strong project management skills, strong analytical skills and international focus,
-
experience with multi-country compliance engagements,
-
qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, CIMA, KIBR) is an asset,
-
IFRS and US-GAAP knowledge, GAAP bridging experience is an asset.
To qualify for the role you must have
-
6 - 10 years of work experience in audit / accounting, and a minimum 3 years of experience in working with global clients.
Ideally you'll also have
-
strong written and verbal communication skill in Business English.
