Role Purpose:

As an Agile coach you are part of the D&T (Digital and Technology) department of HEINEKEN International and located in Heineken Global Shared Service in Cracow. The Agile Coach is a booster for Heineken’s agile transformation. Building and Improving knowledge and usage of the HEINEKEN Agile way of working is a main responsibility for this role. The Agile coach is part of team Agile Way of Working and assigned to a Portfolio. He/she provides training, coaching and learning-on-the-job in order to improve value delivery of the Portfolio. This covers delivery of functionality, productivity as well as improvement in collaboration of the Product Teams

Your responsibilities would include:

Agile practices

• Leading the desired culture change to create a maximum performance in every respect. Main responsibility is to train Product teams and coach them on a consistent and proper application of the HEINEKEN way of working;
• Pointing out bottlenecks in the way of working of the Product Team and coaches on how to improve in order to increase their effectiveness;
• Actively supporting the product team to remove impediments and distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver on the sprint goal;
• Set up and maintaining agile practices
• Facilitating, coaching and guiding Product Teams;
• Setup coordination mechanisms for activities between teams within a portfolio;
• Arranging cohesion and overview between activities that is divided over multiple teams in the portfolio.

Agile improvement

• Enabling and stimulating an environment for providing and asking continuous feedback by acting as a role model;
• Developing the Agile skills of the Product Owner, Scrum Masters and Team Members;
• Educating colleagues (employees at all levels) on Agile principles;
• Providing training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide of Agile methodologies;
• Serving as an Agile ambassador inside and outside the portfolio;
• Identifying and cultivates the best practices of the Agile way of working in GIS;
• Performing in an active coaching role for the implementation of the Agile way of working;

You are a good Candidate if:

• You have Bachelor/Master’s degree
• You have more than 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach and several years of experience in an IT environment;
• You have excellent coaching skills: listening, motivating, observing;
• You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing);
• You have strong knowledge of  and experience with Agile frameworks and practices and able to
• teach others;
• You have proven training-, coaching—and change management experience;
• You are Tech savvy
• You naturally act as a moderator and can think from a systemic point of view
