Why this role is important for us
You will be joining the Global Billing Operations (GBO) team in Global Finance Center Krakow (Poland), which provides a wide range of complex billing services. From client set-up and fee schedules, through invoicing, inquires management, analysis, global transformation processes, to reporting to multiple State Street Bank locations across the world help our business partners create more effective strategic solutions and act on revenue growth opportunities. Global Billing Operations as a part of State Street's Finance Division is responsible for providing services for 7 EMEA countries: France, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the UK. Your new role
As Local Head of Billing Operations, VP you will
Take ownership for the management, delivery, governance and oversight of the billing operations for GFC Poland
Manage and lead the operational team of 60+ staff in different locations, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of billing operations
Manage the relationship across GFC locations as well as in-market teams
Be responsible for multiple stakeholder engagement
Ensure adherence to all SLAs and KPIs
Ensure strong root cause analysis and effective remediation management and closure discipline are followed and remain an integral part of the operational mind-set
Regularly review and enhance of the risk and controls framework
Propose, drive and implement strategic solutions
Drive process re-engineering and play an integral part in the design and implementation of new global billing platform
Develop the team to adopt “owner’s mind set”
What we value
Skills and expertise needed to perform this function
At least 15 years of extensive professional experience in financial services sector, preferably fund administration and custody
Strong finance and accounting knowledge
Extensive experience in managing an off-shored operating model and in collaborating with teams in different countries
Proven interpersonal skills at all levels of a large and complex global organization; demonstrated success at building relationships and collaborating across organizational boundaries
Excellent organizational, leadership skills and ability to manage teams remotely
Proven track record in change management, project management and analytical skills
An ability to adhere to multiple deadlines, with good time management and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment; Proven ability to drive timely execution
Engagement and ownership of problems and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
An innovative and structured approach to work, coupled with an ability to continuously identify and implement process improvements
Advanced Language skills: written and verbal in English (German, French or Italian would be an asset)
