Job Purpose:

HEINEKEN is continuously improving its ability to make operational decisions for product introductions, supply chain changes and to manage profitability. To ensure that decisions are taken on a qualitative and consistent set of data we are growing our global data management capabilities. The Global Data Steward Lead reports to the Director Data Manager in the D&T Organisation. This team is responsible for working with HEINEKEN functions including Global Marketing, Global Sales, Global Supply Chain and Global Finance and HEINEKEN’s Operating Companies in the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of master data to ensure optimal execution of business processes as well as reporting accuracy. The Global Data Steward Lead leads a team of (local/global) Data Administrators and is responsible for execution of the processes related to the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of master data to ensure optimal execution of business processes as well as reporting accuracy. Furthermore, s/he contributes to the overall management and quality control of master data.

 

Your responsibilities would include:
  • Lead the master data team in effective way which fulfills the business needs
  • Responsible for setting up and implementing all MDM processes, roles, governance and resources  
  • Be an advocate for the data management value case, for effective application and usage of enterprise (shared) data and actively contribute to improvement opportunities  
  • Actively champion data management projects and initiatives
  • Review metrics and initiate actions to improve performance 
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data related issues and solve critical data issues
  • Build influencing networks in large complex multinational environment  
  • Lead by example and actively manage performance and development of teams and individuals  
  • Develop and support the team to respond to current and future demands of a constantly changing technological and business landscape  
  • Motivate and enable high-performing and engaged teams  
  • Coach and support direct reports on topics such as PDP and career planning  
  • Foster an environment where people work together and leverage off each other  

You are a good Candidate if:
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant professional experience as leader and 4 years of operational experience in the process, preferably in  MD area
  • You have strong leadership skills and working with experienced individuals
  • You have ability to manage challenging stakeholders’ relationships in dynamic and complex process environment
  • You show engagement and drive for results 
  • You are strong advocate for Data Management 
  • You have firm understanding of data, data flows and processes 
  • You are able to translate Business requirements into the Data Solution
  • You are highly Proficient in MS office 
  • You have excellent written and verbal English
  • You have Bachelor of Science/Business Degree/Management Information Systems, or related discipline
