You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC’s system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs. As part of the team, you’ll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in making IT design recommendations, including:

• Leveraging Architecture and Design for high performance scalable API and Microservices solutions on Microsoft Azure;

• Demonstrating architect highly scalable Integration services using Azure API Management Logic Apps Functions and XML XSLT transformations;

• Defining the API architecture for high availability, low latency and resilience;

• Designing RESTful APIs with ASP NET Core SQL and Azure Table Storage;

• Analyzing business processes, translation of business requirements to functional design, data model design, implementation of semantic layer for BI reporting;

• Demonstrating knowledge of PowerBI & DAX query development with the ability to create reporting connecting to various data sources on premium and on cloud;

• Demonstrating established Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies including agile, scrum, iterative and waterfall, using blended resources;

• Demonstrating analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify, debug and resolve technical issues;

• Demonstrating Lean IT principles and data driven approaches;

• Protecting intellectual property, disaster recovery planning and adherence to SDLCUtilizing architectural domain knowledge including cloud application architecture and container-based deployment;

• Demonstrating business acumen that can interpret and translate goals into technical specifications, and driving technology change; 

• Demonstrating skills to build and influence relationships with senior leaders;

• Demonstrating business rule engine concepts, application and fundamentals as they apply to integration processing;

• Deploying infrastructure and API related azure resources through CI CD pipeline Azure CLI scripts; and,

• Designing, developing and supporting enterprise BizTalk solutions and integration components. Developing technical design and architecture for integration solutions Working with software developers to develop new applications and/or maintain existing applications.

• Participating in application solutions including assisting with planning and architectural design, development, resolution of technical issues and application rationalization;

• Designing Styles, Patterns and Methodologies such as MVC, SOA, Microservice, SPA, MVC/MVP;

• Orchestrating Microservices to create business APIs and REST API design and creation; 

• Designing, building and deploying cloud-centric solutions on Azure, AWS, and GCP; 

• Understanding relational and document database knowledge and microservice architecture with distributed processing patterns (SQL, NoSQL); 

• Demonstrating architectural domain knowledge including cloud application architecture and container-based deployment; and,

• Updating and maintaining the key Enterprise Architecture deliverables for cloud technology.

Minimum years experience required

• 6 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT architecture and engineering designs and domains.

Degree Preferred: Bachelor Degree
