You will be working in the tax reporting team in the Global Business Services (GBS) organization, in the largest center located in Krakow, providing key support to the business, ensuring the accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. Reporting to the Tax Team Leader you will provide key support to the business, applying relevant tax reporting techniques and standards to identify and resolve issues.

Your responsibilities

• Managing a team of employees with focus on effective operational execution, being responsible for the short to midterm operational and tactical team activities defined by Tax Team Leader

• Ensuring timely and accurate production of tax reports in both indirect and direct tax area

• Performing tax reporting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve unusual issues and serves as escalation point for complex tax reporting transactions

• Performing the analysis of tax-related accounts and highlighting discrepancies for correction and conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary

• Ensuring Key Performance Indicators are met with the pre-defined objectives and defining tasks to ensure delivery of services to assigned business partners in accordance with Service Level Agreements

• Acting as the point of contact for external, internal and SOX audits and leading the internal control over tax reporting compliance

• Identifying, recommending and assisting in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains across the region/global

Your background

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Tax Reporting or Tax Advisory area

• Experience in Finance Shared Services for a Global Company a strong plus

• Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills and ERP experience as a must

• Proficiency in the domain of Tax Reporting and thorough understanding of tax reporting processes

• Excellent communication skills as well as team handling and delegation skills

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, handle different initiatives concurrently, create learning atmosphere among team members and leverage networks within the organization

• Proficiency in business English

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Taxes or Law
