Sub Advisor Oversight and Operational Due Diligence Analyst, State Street Global Advisors, Officer, Hybrid
Location: Kraków

Who we are looking for

We are seeking an Officer to join the Sub Advisory Oversight and Operational Due Diligence (Ops DD) Team. The team is responsible for overseeing and conducting operational due diligence on third party investment managers and sub advisory relationships. The future candidate will be required to independently liaise with external partners, investment managers, sub advisors and internal cross functions teams. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As an Analyst you will

  • Manage the media monitoring and background check processes;

  • Plan and facilitate activities for third party managers and sub advisors as directed by the Head of Sub Advisory Oversight & Ops DD;

  • Provide timely responses to inquiries and execute outreach to third party investment partners, sub-advisors, and internal cross functional teams;

  • Liaise with internal functional areas including Global Funds Management, Investment Research, Legal, Compliance and Product Management on various matters;

  • Review Due Diligence Questionnaire responses and escalate items of concern to the team;

  • Assist with third party managers/ sub advisors operational due diligence reviews and substantiating third party managers critical service providers, produce reports as directed by Head of Sub Advisory Oversight and Ops DD;

  • Manage the timing and quality of distributing and receiving deliverables from external sub advisor partners and investment managers;

  • Assist with updating and enhancing policies and procedures;

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Prospective candidates should have direct operational due diligence experience or experience in asset management, auditing, legal/compliance, middle/back office operations, fund administration or investment advisory.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent
