We are looking for people who want to explore career opportunities as an IFRS expert. The key skills required for this position are: analytical mind, scepticism, aptitude for problem solving and a passion for continuous learning. In addition, the candidate should have a good command of spoken and written English, and at least a basic knowledge of IFRS (e.g. gained during IFRS financial audit projects). Project Manager level or above is required.

Job Description

Central Europe IFRS Technical Desk mainly serves Deloitte audit teams in 17 countries across Central Europe; work with external clients is rare. The Desk also supports other Deloitte business lines such as: Audit Advisory, TAX and FAS. The work involves preparing IFRS consultations, reviews of IFRS financial statements, IFRS support for advisory projects and delivery of IFRS webcasts/training sessions. IFRS Technical Desk experts constantly enhance their skills and knowledge of IFRS through on-the-job learning, access to IFRS publications of major audit firms as well as access to IFRS discussions at Deloitte at European and global levels.

Traveling is infrequent and it is possible to work from home. It is possible to work part-time. The English language is used in speaking and writing on a daily basis.

The Desk team is small and located in various offices across Central Europe (currently the team members are located in Poland and the Czech Republic).  You can expect fantastic relations among team members with whom you will stay connected every day. A very supportive and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed.
