Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Test Automation Engineer I.
We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer to work in “Burst Rewrite” project team. The OMS (Order Management System) system trucks ETF transactions got from the other systems. Due to the multiple systems involved with the burst process (main mechanism in our system), it requires extensive coordination to ensure all system environments, prioritization, resources are aligned.
Test Automation Engineer is responsible for creating test automation frameworks and supporting development team and QA in building valuable, effective and maintable test automation solutions. In this role you will be cooperating with QA and developers from our team and other development teams closely working with us. We work with industry standard tools such as Selenium Webdriver/Rest Assured and Jenkins. We expect that you will also open to test our system manually, as we need person which will be flexible and match to our current needs in the project.
Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in Test Automation and related tools

Experience with SDLC standards and best automation practices

Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)

SQL knowledge and database understanding

Java programming skillset (required)
Plus, good knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks:

Build tools (maven)

Unit testing frameworks (JUnit)

Version control systems (Git)

Continuous integration tools (Jenkins)

Web UI testing tools (Selenium WebDriver using Java, Serenity)

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Develop test automation frameworks and execute automated test cases: non-functional (Rest API, sometimes performance) + functional (Selenium WebDriver)

Create and execute SQL scripts for data validation during testing

Report defects in the defect management system and ensure the status of the defect is tracked to closure

Maintain regression suite
-
Manual testing when it is needed
