Your responsibilities
We are looking for a self-starting Logistic / Maritime professional to join the fast-growing Bitumen and Sulphur Business, the chosen candidate will be responsible to ensure that our Bitumen production facility called Eastham Refinery Limited (ERL) located in the UK is replenished on time and at the lowest cost and to arrange shipping capacity and schedules for Sulphur liquid and dry movements.
Act as Bitumen Scheduler back up for Great Britain (UK) and Northwest Europe (NEW) European markets
Responsibilities:
- To develop the rolling replenishment schedule for ERL Terminal, in line with the monthly supply plan, and to re-optimize it on a regular basis.
- To arrange vessels to evacuate Sulphur (dry and Liquid) when required.
- To keep track of the stock inventory in the terminals, by monitoring actual lifting and replenishment vs plan, ensuring that the required target stock positions are met.
- To optimize massive means in conjunction with Shell’s Stasco maritime team(shipping) optimize tonnages, minimizing freight costs whilst preventing stockouts.
- To liaise with receiving terminals (customer sites as well as own Shell stock terminals) to agree and regularly review the supply schedule on a minimum weekly basis.
- Monitor voyage schedules, vessel availability, and progress against schedule,
- Acts as backup Uk. Irl, NWE Scheduling position (vice versa they will be your backup).
Our requirements
- Good communication, analytical, and problems solving skills.
- Capacity to adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- Ability to develop and maintain a good relationship with main stakeholders and work in a virtual and multicultural environment.
- Ability to use admin systems such as GSAP.
- Supply experience would be considered favorably.
- Fluency in English is required - C1.
