Senior General Ledger Accountant (Transfer Pricing Team)
Your Impact:
Our team is responsible for operational aspects of Transfer Pricing model concerning the global trade relations of our network of Jacobs group entities. This role would involve extensive international exposure and support to the global network of company subsidiaries around the world with respect to their statutory accounting, coordination of variety, significant quantities over-the-border transactions.
Key responsibilities of our Senior GL Accountant include:
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert in all areas supported by Transfer Pricing Team
- Close cooperation with Corporate and Regional Tax groups
- Transfer Pricing/Hypothetical Tax/Intercompany reconciliations/analysis preparation and review
- Performing Transfer Pricing/Hypothetical Tax/Intercompany related transactions posting and review
- Running monthly Transfer Pricing process and invoicing
- Supporting Regions/Controllers in various requests
- Providing support for internal and external audits
- Providing work leadership to lower level accounting personnel on complex assignments
- Supporting supervisor in review of the team’s work and various ad hoc non-standard tasks
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or Tax, equivalent major or equivalent experience/professional qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Tax and/or Transfer Pricing/Intercompany accounting involving relations within international environment
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (Oracle R12 preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent work organization and positive, proactive attitude
- English skills that allow to communicate fluently in everyday situations and actively participate in conference calls
- Very good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Openness to work partially on second shift when required
- Alteryx and HFM experience would be an asset
