Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Operations Specialist Corporate Actions - Inquiry Response Team.
In this role you will be responsible for resolution of clients’ inquiries related to Corporate Actions department processing. The resolution of inquiries will require you to perform comprehensive research of information, breaks root cause investigation and daily collaboration with internal and external parties - to present actual fix to client. We are looking for the candidate that is eager to continuously develop their knowledge that would result in understanding of Corporate Actions process as a whole.
The area of team expertise is connected to processing of global Corporate Actions department; all markets (US/Non-US) and all types of CA notifications, instructions for electable events, payments in cash and shares, related tax implications, proxy voting.
The role of Operations Lead Specialist in IRT team will also involve assisting in development of team members and improving processes. Part of your duties will also include documenting workflows and procedures and end-of-day reconciliation tie out.
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
1 to 2 years of custody or securities processing or related industry experience.
English skills at minimum B2 level.
Research, analysis and problem resolution skills.
Strong eager for knowledge development.
Ability to review information/documentation and draw conclusions, observe trends.
basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.
Client experience focused, attitude to provide excellent client service
Strong attention to details.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills in priority management and ability to handle multiple tasks/requests at the same time.
Ability to work in a global team environment.
Ability to diligently work in a deadline-driven environment.

Performing comprehensive research of information available on the market.
Investigation of discrepancies, drawing conclusions on root cause.

Process improvements suggestions.
