
For our Client, Manufacturing Group with a Global presence (20+ manufacturing plants) we are looking for a candidate for a position of Global IT Infrastructure Manager. The role is 100% remote with reporting line to Global IT Development and Operations Manager based in US.

Responsibilities:
- manage a team of Infrastructure Specialists, who manage and support Microsoft Servers, Networking, Azure, M365 (including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, etc), and other line of business applications,
- In addition to leading the team, the Infra Lead will be the top expert in M365 services,
- lead, motivate, and manage the team of 5 Infrastructure specialists in different european locations,
- attract, recruit, and hire high-quality infrastructure engineers & administrators,
- interface with internal customers to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate direction and progress,
- drive improvements in infrastructure management practices,
- deputy to Global IT Operations Manager during EU working-hours,
- incident manager for critical technical incidents during EU working-hours,
- ownership of technical documentation of project requirements, operations processes, and end-user documentation
- support an excellent customer experience by being proactive in assessing escalations, and working with the team to respond appropriately,
- monitor operational performance and recommend improvements,
- monitor cloud security and identity protection, taking action to improve overall security posture,
- respond to and resolve security incidents,
- escalate incidents to Microsoft support, using support agreement with MS & MS partners,
- assess system performance and recommend of improvements,
- develop action plans for remediation of problems and development of solutions.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./B.A. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, comparable training, or experience,
- 6+ years hands-on experience in managing infrastructure systems,
- at least 2 years proven experience in comparable position, leading a team of specialists,
- experience in leading projects with teams from a variety of cultures and languages,
- fluent in English (written and spoken),
- experienced in working with a geographically dispersed team,
- customer service mindset,
- willing to occasionally travel (Estimated 3-4 times per year),
- required technical skills & knowledge:
- excellent communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences,
- expert skills with Windows Server 2016 and 2019,
- expert in M365 platform.
