Your responsibilities

  • Lead on contract workstream within the pursuit covering all legal aspects and contractual arrangements with the client

  • You will be required to work on complex pursuits with the Deal Lead, peer workstream leaders and Service Line Subject Matter Resource and legal teams from different jurisdictions

  • Develop the contract for financial crime managed service within the complex pursuit and run it successfully through the approval process

  • Capture legal risks and specific legal requirements across different jurisdictions to support contract development

  • Support contract negotiations process, including coordination of all the inputs from offering leads, general counsels, pricing and other stakeholders

  • Run training programs for and offering leads, Transition Teams and Delivery Teams on specific contractual arrangements and/or legal risks

  • Engage and manage EY senior leadership stakeholders throughout the contract negotiations pursuit and approvals process, clearly explaining legal risks

  • Work closely with EY teams across globe on pursuits – including legal teams, service lines, PMO, delivery, pricing

  • Lead on development of the standard contract for financial crime managed services within EMEIA

Our requirements

  • Experience in developing and negotiating international contracts for integrated managed services solutions for financial services industry

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience

  • Relevant degree: law, business

  • Has the ability to travel

  • Financial services industry knowledge

  • Client facing experience in terms of contract negotiation

  • Experience of execution of complex contracts for services to be provided over a long period of time

  • Experience in working with legal teams

Our FCMS team specialises in building and running the following managed service solutions:

  • Transaction monitoring,
  • Customer screening/payment filtering for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media,
  • KYC and customer on-boarding.

The role

We are looking for a Business Contract Specialist at Senior Manager level to join our growing Financial Crime Managed Services team in EMEIA Area. You will be expected to run workstreams as part of a complex multi-geography pursuits. The role will focus on qualified client pursuits and include the development and negotiation of a managed service contracts.
