To lead the Stryker Skawina Supply Chain Organization. Coordinating inbound / outbound activities, custom clearance, inventory management, warehousing and internal material transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products to customers – Stryker Distribution Centers.
They will be responsible for achieving and delivering logistical goals per relevant KPI with key focus on inventory control and fulfilling the purchasing orders – shipments on time and in full.
They will develop and nurture a team through excellent communication, they will inspire the logistics team by leading by example and motivating them.

Logistics Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
  • Coordination and quick responsiveness to frequently changing demand reflected in IBP data (Integrated Business Planning).
  • Coordinate logistics activities, inbound/outbound, custom clearance, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Meet customer demand by ensuring product availability through effective utilization of available plant capacity
  • Communicate effectively throughout the internal and external supply chain functions.
  • Promote use of Inventory Control System and Production Scheduling System.
  • Generate and review planning / purchasing and inventory metrics.

Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Analyze and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements.
  • Collaboration with Central Procurement  in suppliers related activities like favorable terms negotiations, lead times optimization, and ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • Inform site management of supply chain related issues requiring attention or improvement.
  • Plans, initiates, and manages improvement projects to the supply chain area as needed to meet changing demands or requirements.
  • Maximise cost competitiveness of Skawina site through attainment of annual budgets and continual focus on Cost Improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate effectiveness of organization to meet current and future market demand through management of product availability.
  • Compliance to financial plan/update with a focus on cost improvements.
  • Compliance to all supply chain related quality requirements.

Inventory Management:

  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Utilize technology and systems to track inventory levels, forecast demand, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Manage WIP and Finished Goods inventories.
  • Effective storage and segregation of materials in line with quality policy.

Transportation Management:

  • Oversee transportation logistics, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling.
  • Monitor carrier performance, negotiate freight rates, and implement cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Custom clearance activities and duties.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment to achieve departmental goals.
  • Develops resource and budget requirements associated with supply chain related activities.
  • Complete Goal Setting, performance reviews/appraisals and development plans for direct reports and overview same for indirect reports.

Must Have

  • Experience managing teams in manufacturing plants
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English
  • A university Degree
  • MedTech experience good to have
