We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Team Lead to join our Client Implementation  Team within Asset Servicing and Digital. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:  

  • Manages workload for 10+ onboarding specialists to meet business demand. Assigns projects, forecasts resource capacity. Acts as an escalation point for project/client issues. 
  • Partners with key stakeholders (Sales/Relationship Management, Operations) to estimate resource requirements and time commitments to complete new implementations.
  • Participates in sales meeting, RFPs and other client meetings to provide input on BNY Mellon’s client onboarding capabilities. 
    • Leads project activities for the onboarding/conversion of Alternatives funds (Hedge, FOF, Private Equity, Credit, and Real Estate Funds).
  • Coordinates the planning, scheduling, reporting, and issue / risk tracking with internal and external stakeholders to meet target onboarding/conversion timelines.
  • Provides leadership and recommendations for overall success of complex onboardings/conversions by conducting analysis of business requirements to ensure highest quality of project delivery  and client satisfaction. 
  • Collaborates with firm-wide resources (Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, etc.) to ensure client onboarding/conversion needs are being addressed and ensures alignment across teams.
  • Proactively manages client expectations by evaluating scope creep, material project changes, and customized operating models.
  • Assists with hiring, onboarding, training and on-going development of onboarding specialists. No direct management responsibilities. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10-12 years of total work experience preferred 
  • Experience in alternative investment funds and client-facing or project management roles preferred  
  • Self starter with proactive attitude and passion for excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required  
  • Interest in people management 
  • German language is an advantage
