We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland-hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • With minimal guidance, compiles, synthesizes and reports on the Bank’s or market data sources.
  • Provides analytical project management support for assigned area.
  • Supports assigned area with advanced, complex qualitative and quantitative analyses. Leads projects in support of new or evolving processes. Interprets findings, prepares standard and ad-hoc reports, and delivers results to management and/or other leaders.
  • Provides recommendations for addressing observed outcomes.
  • Manages day-to-day data management activities ensuring quality and accuracy of all work produced and delivered. Understands and implements processes and may provide recommendations to increase efficiencies and improve processes. May be involved in new data related technology enhancements / implementations. Ensures compliance with the Bank’s standards and best practices.
  • Ensures the production of management reporting and analyses.
  • Ensures the quality of day-to-day services provided is in line with service level agreements in place for each client.
  • Ensures business requirements are executed as expected. Maintains, enhances and abides by the operating procedures for the function. Reviews accuracy of reports and calculations performed by less experienced colleagues.
  • No direct reports. May provide advice/training to new or less experienced team members. Effective collaboration and communication, including information exchange with internal and external contacts, is required. Tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality are essential skills based on the level of internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating a wide range of activities with a focus on the Legal Entity governance area. 
  • Responsible for the timeliness, quality, and accurate completion of own work as well as effective collaboration with management and the leader's manager's direct reports on behalf of the assigned manager. 
  • Contributes towards achievement of team goals and maybe assigned a mix of short to long-term projects or initiatives.
  • Priority is on daily/weekly work but may be responsible for executing work/projects as requested.
  • Exercises autonomy in anticipating and troubleshooting a range of issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree, and 5-8 years’ experience preferred. Experience in Risk or Compliance or Banking Operations preferred. 
  • Advanced MS suite (Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, etc.),
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication
