We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Project Manager – Client Implementations, Working hours 11-19 CET to join our BThe Business Change Execution (BCE) team  team. This role is located in Wrocław, hybrid. 

Department overview 

Global Risk Solutions (GRS) provides innovative and integrated solutions as a leading global provider of performance measurement, analytics and attribution services to Multi National, Corporate, Insurance, Investment Manager and Local Authority/Government clients, pension funds and consultants.

The Business Change Execution (BCE) team advises internal or client business and technology groups on how to best address business issues, processes and opportunities through technology. Our Team identifies and gathers business and system requirements, develops test strategies and plans, creates project and process specifications, coordinates with assigned project teams, and ensures that final requirements have been met upon project conclusion. 

As a Project Manager within the BCE team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of projects within Global Risk Solutions Operations. Your daily activities will cover complex project management for various products, services and platforms delivered to global GRS clients. You will be supporting client conversion processes from point of sale to the handover of implemented services to our Consultant and the Operational teams. You will be responsible for identifying and gathering all information related to client on-boarding as well as technology and process change. You will act as a primary interface between technology, business/functional areas and GRS clients for all non-commercial items during client implementation phase.

The role considers supporting North America market and cooperating with US stakeholders as so willingness to work during late shift is essential. Working hours: 11 – 19 CET.   

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Manage or support the client conversion process for Global Risk Solutions clients from point of sale to the handover of implemented services to a GRS Consultant and the Operations team.
  • Main contact for all non-commercial items during client implementation phase.
  • Help clients think through the best BNY Mellon solution for them and how to migrate from an existing operating platform to a BNY Mellon strategic platform.
  • Manage on- and off-boarding of clients for various GRS Operations products and services
  • Own and maintain relevant project documents/artefacts.
  • Form and work with a team for each project, agree tasks with target dates, monitor progress against plan.
  • Arrange and chair internal and external project update meetings, tracking tasks, assigning actions and documenting them.
  • Work with stakeholders and SMEs to resolve any obstacles blocking the smooth and successful completion of projects. 
  • Provide updates to all stakeholders including clients, project team members and senior management.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, Product Specialists, Relationship Managers (RMs), GRS Consultants, Investment Accounting and Global Operations within BNYM Asset Servicing and Technology to ensure a smooth process.
  • On ad-hoc basis, coordination for existing clients escalations, including critical ones. 
  • May assist with the contract negotiation process as it relates to service level definitions and KPIs.
  • May be required to participate in pre/post sales workshops to explain the conversion process of GRS services.
  • No direct reports, may provide guidance to less experienced team members as needed or be tasked with basic Team Lead responsibilities.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required (5+ years of total experience in client-facing or project management preferred).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, comfortable with all types of external and internal stakeholders (spoken and written English min. B2/C1 level).
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to handle high volumes with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in use of MS Excel (pivots, functions, etc.) with the ability to quickly learn other applications. Basic knowledge of SQL.

Preferred:

  • Relevant Professional qualifications advantageous: (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, PMI)
  • Experience using collaboration software (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Teams).
