YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Microservice Architecture, ideally with a background in the insurance domain. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale, transformative project that aims to modernize and integrate CRM solutions across various international markets.

YOUR TASKS

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring/Spring Boot (including Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud), and Microservice Architecture.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices, using tools such as Jenkins and Kubernetes, to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration.
• Build and integrate REST APIs to connect various services and ensure data consistency across the platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize a range of tools and technologies, including AWS Cloud, Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK-Stack, and Git, to develop, monitor, and maintain applications.
• (Optional) Contribute to frontend development using Angular and TypeScript, depending on your experience and interest.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively within a globally distributed team. 

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong experience in Java, Spring/Spring Boot (including Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud), and Microservice Architecture.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in frontend development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and monitoring tools such as AWS Cloud, Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK-Stack, and Git.
• Knowledge of E2E Frontend Testing tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and pair programming.
• Additional language skills, particularly in German.
• Previous experience with insurance-specific tools like Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, or other similar platforms.
